Vitil has been providing service and support for computers, printers, networking and software applications in the greater Manatee and Sarasota counties for over 33 years.

KEY EVENTS

2010-03 - Moved to new office location next to be next to our deployment center
2009-06 - Began providing the annual PC refresh at Sarasota Schools
2008-07 - Began providing a Technology Service Desk at Sarasota Schools
2008-06 - Vitil SMB division sold to Infinity Business Systems of Tampa
2007-04 - Supported the Sarasota County Government ITIL® implementation 
2006-12 - Launched server failover solution and branch office replication system
2006-10 - Name change from DOS Computer Center to Vitil 
2005-10 - Launched a fully integrated application suite within the hosted environment
2004-02 - Launched single application hosting services
2004-01 - Moved into the Northgate facility
2003-03 - Converted from a product driven business to professional services organization
2002-08 - Launched the One-Source contract based service program
2002-05 - Manatee Chamber Small Business of the Year Finalist
2002-03 - Marketing alliance with Digital Controls Corporation
2001-12 - Sarasota Better Business Council Insignia Award
2001-10 - Won the Sarasota County Government RFP to provide desktop computer and printer services
2000-11 - Added document scanning products and services
2000-07 - Acquired PC Repair
2000-07 - Dale Ott and Kathy Seiders purchased the company
1998-06 - DOS Imaging spun off as a separate entity
1997-05 - Initiated copier and fax machine services department in a business incubator format
1994-03 - Moved into the N. Tamiami Trail building
1987-03 - Changed the name to DOS (Dynamic Office Systems) Computer to join a national franchise
1982-06 - Regional medallions for IBM, Compaq, Acer and AT&T PC Sales
1977-01 - Company founded as SCI-COM Data Systems by Terry Seiders to provide programming support
